(WASHINGTON DC -- AUGUST 10, 2010) The Saint Louis, MO Chapter of the Islamic Information Center will be hosting a fundraiser for MyOrphans, an international Orphan sponsoring agency that seeks to help Muslim orphans in various countries, with a focus on specially disadvantaged religious minorities such as Shias. The proceeds from this event will be directed to Iraqi Orphans, and donations will be accepted both at the fundraiser itself and online by clicking here.

The 4th Annual - MyOrphans Fundraiser Iftaar

Special Guest Speaker: Syed Hasan Hakim, the Grandson of the late Ayatollah Bakir Hakim (2003)

Hujjatul Islam Moulana Syed Shahid Husain will preside

When: Friday, August 13, 2010 at 8pm (program will start with Maghrib Prayers)

Where: Zainabiya Imambargah (7011 Howdershell Road, Hazelwood, MO)

Food tickets will be on sale ($10 for adults and $5 for kids under 5).

All proceeds will be donated to the MyOrphans organization that is associated with I.M.A.M. (The office of Grand Ayatollah Sistani) Please bring your family and friends so we can all raise money for these Iraqi orphans.
