| | (WASHINGTON D.C. - 11/20/2009) The Islamic Information Center is proud to announce a grassroots campaign to support the masjids in the asset forfeiture case ,entitled You Can't Seize My Faith, which will begin with a Unity Jummah program to be held next Friday, November 27th, 2009, from 12:00pm at the Islamic Education Center in Rockville, MD.Reports that four masjids will be seized by the government have evoked strong emotions in the Muslim community, and this event will be an unprecedented show of support to masjids around the country. The other 3 masjids in the seizure case are advised to hold similar unity and community support events at their centers. Please make every effort to advertise this event to others, and attend the Unity Jummah in large numbers. It is vital that the Muslim community support its masjids, especially in troubled times.
