| | In early 2007, the Islamic Information Center relocated its main headquarters to the National Press Club building in Washington D.C. The National Press Club is an international news media hub, home to hundreds of media organizations from around the world, and regularly hosts world leaders and various elected officials from around the nation. By positioning an office in this location, the Islamic Information Center is uniquely suited to disseminate important Islamic information throughout the world in a professional and instantaneous manner. | |
| | (WASHINGTON DC - January 8, 2010) The Islamic Information Center is proud to announce, that as a result of the American Leadership Initiative for Muslims that took place on the July 17th, 2009 weekend, IIC has opened a new chapter in Atlanta, Georgia. This will be IIC's fifth chapter opening in this country! These chapters will help further the mission of the Islamic Information Center on a local and grassroots level. Community members will benefit from increased efforts to connect them to local politicians, media, and interfaith outreach groups. In establishing these chapters, one of the main goals of the ALIM Convention was accomplished.
