IIC Condemns Attack on US Embassy
(WASHINGTON DC - September 18, 2008) The Islamic Information Center condemns the attack on the United States Embassy in Yemen. The embassy was attacked earlier this week, killing seventeen individuals, including a young American student, named Susan Al-Baneh, who had gone to Yemen to get married. These attacks are an atrocity, and completely against the ideals of Islam, which teaches moderation, prayer, fasting, and good will to humanity. IIC supports any efforts to capture the perpetrators and hopes that they will be brought to justice quickly. Additionally, the Islamic Information Center gives its support and prayers to the families of those who were killed in this attack.
