IIC Main Offices

In early 2007, the Islamic Information Center relocated its main headquarters to the National Press Club building in Washington D.C. The National Press Club is an international news media hub, home to hundreds of media organizations from around the world, and regularly hosts world leaders and various elected officials from around the nation. By positioning an office in this location, the Islamic Information Center is uniquely suited to disseminate important Islamic information throughout the world in a professional and instantaneous manner.

(WASHINGTON DC - August 28, 2009) The Islamic Information Center is proud to announce, that as a result of the American Leadership Initiative for Muslims that took place on the July 17th, 2009 weekend, two new IIC chapters are being opened!

The chapters will be opened in the New York City area, and will encompass Muslim communities in New York and New Jersey, and in Miami, Florida! These chapters will help further the mission of the Islamic Information Center on a local and grassroots level. Community members will benefit from increased efforts to connect them to local politicians, media, and interfaith outreach groups.

In establishing these chapters, one of the main goals of the ALIM Convention was accomplished. The purpose of the conference was to bring actionable plans to the community in a way that all could participate.

ALIM Convention results are still being tallied! So stay tuned for the latest in IIC Resolutions, initiatives and other projects that have directly resulted the hard work at the ALIM Convention!

The Islamic Information Center provides accurate information about the Islamic faith and Muslim community to government offices, media outlets, and civic organizations. Through educational and interfaith programs, IIC promotes understanding, community, and trust among people of all faiths and cultures.
